- Be Nigerian by birth
- Be between the ages of 18 -39
- Be medically fit and present certificates of medical fitness from government recognized hospitals
- Be of good character and not have any past criminal records
- Possess required qualifications and certificates

- Chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men.
- Have height not less than 1.65 for males and 1.60 for females.
